Friends

What would we do without friends?  I know what I would do....I would get really annoyed with my family and go crazy because they are all I would have.  You don't see your friends every day (or maybe you do) but you keep in contact with them every day or on a regular basis. You know they are always there for you and you are always there for them. I love my friends and I hope they know how much they mean to me. My husband is great but having friends makes life a heck of a lot more fun and easier because sometimes the husband doesn't always understand. A friend just has that way about them...you can be 100% honest and they won't get super crabby and not kiss you goodnight which I HATE. (I need to be kissed goodnight! lol) It just seems easier to work through problems and differences with friends. I don't know why that is. (Maybe I will ponder more on that and write about why husbands are difficult! HA! That just might be impossible). To all of my friends, you know who ...

About Me

I am who I am. I attempt to live by the quote below and have as much fun as I can! "You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching, Love like you'll never be hurt, Sing like there's nobody listening, And live like it's heaven on earth."  - William W. Purkey I like who I am. There are some things I would change like I wish I was more confrontational and outgoing. Nobody is perfect, everyone body has their faults and we are all unique in our own way. I try to see the good in everybody and not judge at first glance, although at times I just don't follow my own rules. I can get in my moods where I do whatever the hell I want and when I want.  Enough about me....and onto my family. I met the love of my life, Adam, in 2004, senior year of high school. We went to different schools and met through friends. One of his best friends is my cousin and I didn't even know it! He was my rock through my difficult senior year. My mom and I were not getting along...

Control Freak

I am a control freak! I need to always be in control of situations I am in. I don't like letting someone else drive me places (except for my husband). I don't like others planning events that I am involved in. I don't like being on the receiving end; I need to be involved in the planning. I need to be in control is just what it comes down to. I hate this part of me. I am planning something with a large group of people and it has been one of the most stressful things. Almost as bad as my wedding! Trying to make everyone happy including yourself can be very challenging. Communication, Money, Time....etc... I just needed to vent! What can I do to stop being such a control freak?? What amazes me is how I am not like this in my relationship with family. My husband and I compromise a lot...maybe it is because we are both the oldest children and both want to always be in control! This can hinder our relationship at times but we get through it and are more strong because of it....

First Time Ever

First off, I have never had a blog before. I just decided that I need somewhere to share my random thoughts, frustrations and craziness of being me. I am at work now so can't say much! I will post a background about me next! :)
