Trying to Live the American Dream

Sorry...another post about my girls. They are my life right now so that is what most of my posts will be about until I start coming up with more ideas! I was looking back and saw my post from June 15, 2012. It is about Ali and how challenging she can be and pushing my buttons. It is crazy to think that over a year later she is still the same way. I think back and don't realize that is so long ago she was already defining her personality and learning how to push me around. When reading the post, I was thinking she was that way at a year and a half. OH MAN!!  She is a bull-headed and strong-willed girl! She wants what she wants when she wants it! She does know exactly how to push my buttons and does not listen. Her ears are always broke, I swear! She has been sent to her room an awful lot lately to cool down and come back out when she is ready to listen and not whine. I love her to death but man she knows how to push me.....I have tried different disciplinary techniques and can...

Mornings....how they are so unpredictable. I wake up every morning with one intention....to get out of my house by 7am. I can't set any other expectations because you just never know....a 2.5 year old that can wake up smiling and so happy to see you or crying and miserable. Adam used to call me the "morning monster"--I have now handed down that name to Ali! Andi is a piece of cake...wakes up at 5am, eats, either falls back to sleep or I dress her and she just hangs out until we are ready to go.  This morning was a breeze which is unusual. Most mornings there is a dramatic scene about getting dressed or going potty to get her diaper off and undies on or turning off her movie to leave. Heaven for bid Shrek2 won't be here when we get home! It is entertaining, knowing what 2 year old's worry about. I wish it was as simple as worrying about whether or not Shrek will still be at home when I get home after work! That would be too easy. I do bring Ali to the sitters in ...

I thought it would be fun to share some random facts about me....this could get lengthy! I love my girls more then anything in the whole wide world! Sorry -- it is blurry - Ali is reading to Andi ---  on this day Ali told me to keep playing with Mac and leave Andi alone I have a serious obsession with Chocolate Chip Cookies.... LOVE THEM!!!!--In fact I am inhaling three from Subway right now! I also have a serious obsession with Ice Cream.....vanilla with lots of toppings! I use too many exclamation points....periods are too boring! I hate soda and anything with bubbliness to it.... I always have room for dessert...always -- no joke! I could eat breakfast food all day long every day -- cereal is pretty darn good. Can you tell I enjoy food?! I have a brother named, Elvis! My mother is crazy....she danced on tables at my wedding...come on now! I am always doing something...usually reorganizing something I just organized...I drive myself nuts. I am on anxie...

I have this new obsession with blogs....I love reading what other people have to say especially this one:  http://www.funcheaporfree.com/ She is awesome and I was telling my friend about her and my friend says you should start a blog. I was like I have one but haven't wrote anything in a long time....so I decided I will start writing again! Jordan, Fun Cheap or Free Queen inspired my first post back....which is going to take a little while to compile. Stay tuned....
